PAKISTAN SKILLING SYMPOSIUM 2023
BUILDING YOUTH TALENT AND DIGITAL ECONOMY
Businesses worldwide are leveraging technological advancements to propel economic growth, introduce innovative processes, and reshape customer-centric business models. The rapid transformation of the global landscape has significant implications for the education and training sector. The advent of technological revolutions, such as Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0), necessitates a comprehensive review of skills, knowledge, standards, policies, human resource development, social and cultural norms, and also resource mobilization strategies.
In response to the demands of industry and the impact of globalization on education, the Pakistan Skilling Symposium 2023 will establish a platform to explore the transformative role of technology in education. This symposium will bring together key stakeholders from academia, industry, and government to foster innovation and redefine innovation goals and strategies, ultimately enhancing learning outcomes and better preparing youth across Pakistan for the evolving workforce.
The Pakistan Skilling Symposium 2023 seeks to address the digital divide through collaborative strategies for enhancement of digital skills and combat isolation in the modern digital society. Through keynote addresses and interactive sessions, the symposium will explore pathways in achieving a fully digitalized inclusive future.
AIM
Pakistan skilling symposium aims to empower youth across Pakistan with the knowledge, skills, and proficiency required to leverage digital economy. It will also build the community to self-manage digital career and well-being through proactive edification.
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES
- To understand how to secure bridge digital skills gap and promote technological advancement within the country.
- To provide youth with industry recognized certification.
- To increase their employability and career advancement opportunities.
- To equip Pakistani youth with digital tools and knowledge.
